Most people never get PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder); However, when an individual or people in a group are exposed to a potentially traumatic event, some of us may develop the symptoms of PTSD, while others may find their “New Normal” to be very much the same as their “Old Normal”.
In this session participants are given information and insights into why there is a variance among percipients after exposure to a potentially traumatic event.
Together we discuss the unique capacity we have to rebound and recover from a traumatic event and learn why some of us have to adapt to a “New Normal”. A picture that brings with it several emotional, relational, vocational, physical, and cognitive changes.
