What is anxiety and why is it so common? What is happening inside of us that feels so awful? Within this disorder specific workshop, participants will review the risk factors and major drivers that cause anxiety today.
We will review an assortment of case studies during this session to help participants understand the signs and symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks. We will discuss crisis intervention, and how to interact supportively with minor and extreme anxiety/panic attacks.
Participants will gain strategies to apply when anxiety strikes within their own lives. Isolation and what it’s doing to us and to Anxiety is examined. Professional, Personal, and in-a-Pinch resources that mean something to the experience are taught.
