· What is Mental Health?
· What are signs and symptoms of mental health issues and disorders?
· What is stigma and what is the impact in the workplace?
· What are some key communication tools to adopt and how can this impact the organization?
· How does mental health impact the organizational culture?
· Solutions to consider and address
· Considering Mental Health as it relates to employee job performance
This workshop gives participants a clear understanding of how to navigate mental health issues in self and in others. It is used in training both supervisors and non-supervisory employees.
It offers the participant an overview of mental health and provides interactive components while developing an understanding of the value of support as it relates to mental health issues. The participant is left with a clear understanding of the harmful impact of stigma and how to dismantle stigma in self and our work or personal environment.
The session provides the participant with the tools and motivation to meaningfully interact with one who is experiencing or developing a mental health condition or crisis.
Participants gain tools to recognize changes in mood, work performance, and workplace behavior. Participants gain strategies and skills to confidently engage in meaningful and non-threatening Mental Health conversations.
This session helps remove STIGMA and Self-STIGMA which prevent open dialogue and are barriers to support and treatment.
