Certified by the Mental Health Commission of Canada
Available for both Virtual or In-Person workshops over 1 or 2 days.
An evidence-based course, MHFA Standard has been proven to give participants:
- The tools to recognize signs of decline in mental well-being.
- The ability to talk about mental health.
- The knowledge of supports that can help with improved mental well-being.
- The confidence to reach out to these supports.
The course is divided into 3 modules.
- Module 1: Self Directed online (60 min to 2 hours),
- Module 2 :MHFA for Declining Well-being-Live Virtual (3.5 hours)
- Module 3: MHFA for Mental Health Crisis- Live Virtual (3.5 hours)
With conversations and skills to approach, assess, and assist in multiple Mental Health Crisis’s and Emergencies covering:
- Substance overdose
- Suicidal behaviour
- Panic attack
- Acute stress reaction
- Psychotic episode
